We will write a short play and then split time between set and prop design, building, choreography, acting and music to prepare for a performance on the last day of camp. Those campers who are on production will also learn lighting, curtain management, prop management and stage management.
Please note: On the first day of camp, we will spend time talking with each camper and learning what their preferred area of interest(s) is/are. No campers will be forced to sing and dance if they would rather build sets and vice versa!

This year, we will be opening it to a wider audience and taking donations to help off-set the increased rental cost of the facility.
Please review our Code of Conduct and Health Policies below. On the first day, we discuss behavior expectations in Circle Time and lay the ground for an environment of respect and fun.
*************************************************************************************
Code of Conduct Policy
We strive to create a safe and welcoming environment for all of our students. We have worked with hundreds of students collectively, and understand that no two students are alike in how they express themselves. We practice patience and understanding, however, if we feel that a student is being disruptive and keeping other students from experiencing a positive environment, we follow a 3-Step Policy:
1. Warning - If we feel that the student is being highly disruptive, we will give a Verbal Warning.
2. Time Away - On the second occurrence of highly disruptive behavior, we will request that the student take 5 minutes “away” from the class in a quiet and calm area of the classroom.
3. Parent Contact/Removal from class - On the third occurrence of highly disruptive behavior, we will contact the parent/guardian and request that the student be picked up.
-We discuss this policy at the beginning of classes and camp with our students so that they understand the expectation.-

Health Policy
Please do not send your child to camp if they have had a fever within 24 hours prior.
We will have a forehead-scanning thermometer and first aid kit at camp. If a child feels unwell, we will take their temperature and alert the parent/guardian if the child needs to be picked up.
